OxygenOS 3.2.0 For OnePlus 3 Comes With Bug Fixes And Improved RAM Management

After launching the OnePlus 3 smartphone less than a month ago, the company is rolling out the OxygenOS 3.2 that brings a multitude of changes and improvements.

The OnePlus 3 features 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display. The device is powered by an Adreno 530 GPU and a Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with 64 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM.

The smartphone features a front 8-megapixel camera and a 16-megapixel rear camera. The non-removable 3000 mAh battery supports Dash Charge fast charging. The OnePlus 3 runs on company's OxygenOS, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

According to Android Headlines, the OnePlus 3 packs top of the line hardware, but faces some issues with its software. This had lead to complaints from users. Among the most common issue users face is the way OnePlus manages its 6 GB of RAM.

OnePlus have designed the RAM management in the smartphone with the aim to save battery life. However, after users started complaining, the company has decided to change the RAM management and some other software issues.

To all OnePlus 3 users running on OxygenOS, OnePlus is releasing now an OTA update with a size of 396 MB. Improved GPS performance, improved RAM management, enhanced audio playback quality, enabled sRGB mode and updated custom icon packs are among the changes. The OxygenOS 3.2 also comes with fixes for some issues in gallery and issues in notifications, as well as fixed bugs in the Music and Clock apps, latest Google security patches and improved camera quality/functionality.

The sRGB mode in the updated OS can only be enabled in the developer options. The VR issue has also been fixed. The issue caused the OnePlus 3 device's magnetometer to spike and cause clicking in VR enabled apps like the YouTube and Cardboard App, rendering them unusable.

According to 9To5Mac, many users of the OnePlus 3 device have announced on forums that they have already received the OS update, even if OnePlus did not officially announce it yet.
