'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Preview Released! Teaser Reveals Show Will Get Even More Violent

During the San Diego Comic-Con last Friday, July 22, Adult Swim released its first ever teaser of "Rick and Morty" season 3. The teaser showed how the third season of the show can get really violent and bloody, too.

The showrunners of "Rick and Morty" Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland provided a sneak peek of the show's upcoming third season. The teaser was in a form of an animatic clip, only showing bits and pieces, figuratively and literally.

It has been proven from the second season that "Rick and Morty" can be really graphic with its representations. At the teaser, it was shown how Rick transferred his mind into the body of an insect. After which, an angry rat wanted to eat Rick at the scene. However, Rick was wise enough to set a trap for the rat and it ends up being decapitated, as reported by Comic Book.

After that scene, many other rats come and taunt him. Fans of the show have now come up with the theory that Rick's escape will involve bashing and decapitating many other rats, revealing how violent and bloody the third season may be.

The sneak peek of the "Rick and Morty" season three was definitely a bloodbath but hasn't scared off any of their fans. In fact, the teaser excited them even more as to how Dan and Justin will come up with ideas for the series.

According to Collider, the creators of "Rick and Morty" namely Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon have already discussed their limits on censorship with S&P (Standards & Practices). They have been assured that despite the bloodiness, censorship won't be applied as long as the show is dealing with alien violence.

In line with this, the fans of "Rick and Morty" have already embraced the way the showrunners have exposed very graphic scenarios. There is more to come with the story of Morty and his dysfunctional family at the return of "Rick and Morty" on their third season.
