'Moana' New Trailer Proves It Is A Must Watch Disney Film

Disney Animation Studios released a new trailer for their newest film, "Moana". It premiered during NBC's coverage of Rio Olympics and proved that it is one Disney film to watch out for.

It was proven in the newest "Moana" trailer that this new Polynesian princess is one of the best. She does not take no for an answer and is very independent. In the new trailer, Moana, the Polynesian princess, was convincing Maui, the demigod, to go on an adventure with her to save her people. Though Maui was a bit hesitant at first because of the possible endless obstacles they will encounter, he ultimately agreed after Moana's never ending encouragement and persuasive arguments. The trailer showed a glimpse of their adventure. It also showed Maui's powers and Moana's connection to the ocean.

Even though the focus was with Maui in this trailer, Moana is still the protagonist of the film. Screen Rant justified the trailer and stated that Maui is voiced by Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" so Disney will also highlight his character. Also, Disney has released a previous trailer showing the super cute baby Moana and her deep connection with the ocean.

Coming Soon reported that other characters were included in the trailer. The coconut pirates called Kakakora and Moana's pet pig were a few of them. The film will also feature the voices of Jemaine Clement (Tamatoa), Rachel House (Gramma Tala), Temuera Morrison (Moana's father Chief Tui), Nicole Scherzinger (Moana's mother Sina) and Alan Tudyk (Heihei).

You can watch the trailer video below to see for yourself how great the film will be. If you are still not sold with that, then the music created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of Hamilton, might catch your interest. He also dominated Disney Animation's instagram and posted multiple updates on Sunday before the premiere of the new trailer for this movie. It is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. It will hit the cinemas on November 23 this year.
