The beta version will also make it easier for players in enjoying the game. The menu will only occupy a portion of the screen. This means that players do not have to leave the game to access the menu. The upcoming PS4.0 upgrade will also give shortcut keys that could be used for accessing game options such as Communities or Favorite Groups.

3. Folders Added

One of the most talked about feature of the PS4.0 update is the addition of folders in the Sony gaming platform. Players could organize their game contents according to their specifications.

There is one rumored feature about the PS4.0 update that has yet to be confirmed by Sony or PlayStation officials. The beta version may feature a Two-step verification system. The rumored security feature is intended to protect PS4 player accounts from hacking attacks.

The Two-verification system will require the PS4 player to enter an additional password before they can gain access to their accounts, according to IBT. The second password will come from the PlayStation Network itself through SMS. This will also mean that players need to register their phones to the PSN in order to receive the SMS passcode.

Sony's PS4 is currently the top-selling gaming console in the world second to Microsoft's Xbox One.
