iPhone 7 In-Depth Review: Dual Camera And Larger Storage Options Confirmed

The iPhone 7, no matter what type of negative press befalls it, is still one of the most highly anticipated handhelds to be released this year. Apple's loyal user base, however, is itching to see if the Cupertino-based company will deliver this this time around, particularly in areas that have long been an issue.

The Issue: Storage Options

As confirmed by BGR, at least one issue will be addressed by Apple though it will definitely come at a price the user will have to shoulder. The current line of iPhones has a minimum storage option of 16GB, which is cheaper than its other counterparts and therefore cheaper. However, the 16GB does not even take into account the storage that the iOS itself takes up. As such, users are sometimes left to make the most of their unit with the minimum amount of applications.

However, the publication shares that a recent leak confirms that the iPhone 7 will come with a minimum storage option of 32GB, which will be followed by 128GB and 256GB.

The prices are unknown at this point, but users should be prepared to pay a little more than previous iterations.

The Icing On The Cake: Dual-Lens Camera

According to Forbes, Taiwanese pop star Jimmy Lin recently went out in public with the new iPhone 7 in tow. Photos of Lin with the phone surfaced and clearly confirm that the presence of a dual-lens camera.

While Apple's current camera system is already relatively good, there is always room for improvement. As such, the dual-lens system will allow for an increase in light sensitivity and will make it easier for the user to achieve their desired effect, particularly in blurring backgrounds.

Granted, users should not expect to have the ability to take DSLR-quality photos, but they will have one of the best built-in smartphone cameras in the market.
