Production of the series have already finished filming for season three and even though it will air until next year, fans of the series have already anticipated the coming of a fourth season.

Speculations of an upcoming season four of "Girl Meets World" have circulated the internet nonstop, as the fans of the series strongly urge for its renewal. However, since the characters of the series are already growing up and getting more matured, the storyline might be a little too adult for Disney to pick it up.

Sabrina Carpenter On Treating Every Season Like Its Their Last

One of the stars of "Girl Meets World," Sabrina Carpenter who plays Maya remains positive for the series to be renewed. According to Ecumenical News, the actress shared how she and the other cast members treat every season as their last even though they are unsure of the show's future yet. She is also hoping that the series be renewed still as she also wants to see the development of her character on the show.

Rowan Blanchard Remains Positive And Hopeful On Season 4 Renewal

Another one of the stars, Rowan Blanchard said that a season four renewal of the series remains uncertain up to this point and still waiting for the network to make the announcement. According to Christian Post, they are all optimistic and especially after the speculations that even though Disney might not pick up the series for a renewal, it will be picked up by another network.

There have been reports saying that if the storyline of season four of "Girl Meets World" might be too mature for it to be aired on Disney, the series will be picked up for renewal by Freeform instead. The fans of the series will just have to wait for the official announcement since they are not giving up on the hope.
