Motorola Moto Z, Moto Z Play Coming To The U.S.: Specs, Features And Price

The Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Play will finally be coming to the United States in its unlocked version. People who would want a Motorola smartphone not tied to a specific carrier will now have a chance to get either of the two new Motorola smartphones.

The Motorola Moto Z has been exclusive to Verizon in the U.S. together with the Moto Z Force, as GSM Arena reports. However the unlocked version of the Moto Z will be arriving together with the new Moto Z Play. Both smart phones will be coming in by October, although pre-orders for the Moto Z will start on September 15.

Motorola will have the Moto Z sold at $699.99 and unlike Verizon's version, it will not be CDMA. The Motorola Moto Z Play will be sold at $449.99. Not only will the Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Play would be sold unlocked in the U.S. but both will also come to the U.K. soon.

According to Phone Arena the Moto Z and Moto Z Play will be coming to the U.K. later this month. The Moto Z will cost about 529 Pounds while the Moto Z Play will be sold at 329 Pounds.

For the U.K. both smart phones will be sold at Amazon U.K. and John Lewis though other stores might also pick them up soon. For the U.S. Motorola will directly sell the units to consumers.

The Motorola Moto Z comes with the Snapdragon 820 as its processor, and 32GB and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 256GB through microSD. It has 4GB RAM and a 13MP rear camera. Its front camera is 5MP. The screen size is 5.5 inches.

The Motorola Moto Z Play is just as big as the Moto Z with 5.5 inches of screen size. Its processor though is the Snapdragon 625 and will come with 32GB internal storage expandable to 256GB through microSD. It has 3GB RAM. It has a much higher camera resolution at 16MP for the rear while the font has 5MP.

HTC is said to be coming out with the Desire 10 Pro and iTechPost has reported about that recently.
