God Of War 4 Has Its Own Dynamic Duo To Offer

There are lots of elements that make God of War 4 different from all the other installments in the franchise. From having a brand new setting and/or mythology down to its overall gameplay, this game is surely unique from its predecessors. And in terms of combat play, it has its own Batman-Robin -- the Dynamic Duo -- style to offer.

According to SegmentNext, Kratos and his son will have to work with each other so as to conquer the feats in God of War 4. As seen in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the kid utilized a hunting bow to help his father in battling monsters.

Obviously, as seen on the God of War 4 E3 demo, Kratos' son needs some practice. After all, he shot his father right into the shoulder. Nevertheless, it's safe to say that he has the potential to become a great warrior someday.

This time around, God of War 4 will introduce a brand new combat style. Apart from the tandem of the two characters, the game's camera view will have the same concept to that of Resident Evil 4's. If Kratos used the so-called Blade of Olympus, in the forthcoming title, he'll wield an axe. As far as the footage is concerned, the demigod didn't showcase any sort of weapons except the aforesaid.

While the exact role of Kratos' son in God of War 4 remains a mystery, there's no doubt that he'll play a significant part. This is where players can witness the prowess of a duo, something that is best exemplified by DC's Batman and Robin.

As previously reported here at iTech Post, God of War 4 finds Kratos as a stranger in a new land where monsters are lurking. Veering away from the Greek mythology staple, the upcoming title will revolve around Norse mythology.
