4 Unique Badges That Pokemon GO Needs To Have

Despite the recent ups and downs, there's no doubt that Pokemon GO is still the highly celebrated mobile game of today. But of course, despite its massive success, it still has lots of features to offer. And sure enough, badges are one of them. Unfortunately, these are yet to be introduced to the game. Nevertheless, if we are to pick 4 of them, here are our favorites. Check it out!

The Pokemon GO Boulder Badge

This badge right here is surely an interesting add-on to Pokemon GO. Held by Brock in the anime, the Boulder Badge is given out to trainers who battle at the Pewter City Gym. But of course, only the gym leader can possess such. The badge gives the possessor the ability to use the so-called HM Flash outside of any battles. Above all, it raises the Pokemon's attack stat at the start.

The Pokemon GO Cascade Badge

If the Cascade Badge is to be added into Pokemon GO, players who own it will have the capability to up their Pokemon's level to 30. And not just that, the creatures they own will have the means to use the HM Cut outside of the battle (similar to the aforementioned badge). In the anime version of the game, the Cascade Badge can be acquired at the Cerulean City Gym and is currently owned by Misty.

The Pokemon GO Thunder Badge

In the anime version of Pokemon GO, the Thunder Badge is given out at the titular Vermillion City Gym. It is being held by Lt. Surge, the gym's Pokemon leader. Just like the aforesaid badges, it gives the owner the capability to use HM Fly outside of any battles. Moreover, it can boost the speed stat of a specie if used.

The Pokemon GO Rainbow Badge

If Pokemon GO players acquire the Rainbow Badge, they can effectively use it to make their Pokemon obey them. The badge also allows them to use the HM Strength to be utilized even outside of any gym battles. In the anime, it is given out at the majestic Celadon City Gym. Currently, Erika, the gym leader, holds it.

It should be noted that, again, these badges are yet to be introduced to Pokemon GO. But, if in one way or another, it finds its way to the game, it'll make things pretty much more interesting. According to Otakukart, if badges are to be part of the title, players might have the capability to customize them -- regardless of having similar design or concept from the ones in the anime/manga.

What do you think about these Pokemon GO badges? Do you also think Niantic should introduce them to the game? What other badges do you want to see? Let us know at the comment section below!
