HP Inc Switches To Microsoft Dynamics' CRM Software To Handle Sale Processes

Seems like HP could no longer resist Microsoft's charms and finally partnered up with the tech firm. Microsoft has always beaten other customer service management tools such as Salesforce and Oracle, but it took HP a while to realize that.

It looks like 2016 is a good year for Microsoft to manufacture products and make a comeback in the tech world, especially with the Microsoft Surface phone and Surface Pro Series underway and getting ready for its release in 2017.

Microsoft has entered a six-year contract with HP Inc., with the binding agreement between both companies stipulating that HP is permitted to use Microsoft's Dynamics CRM online service to handle sales processes.

With this, HP inc. has completely dropped Salesforce and Oracle software and replaced its customer managing tool with Microsoft Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be helping hardware giant HP in managing customer relations, tracking partnerships and handle sales processes, as reported in Fortune.com.

Sources suggest that Microsoft has entered a six-year agreement with HP Inc. to use its Dynamics CRM online service, the companies said this morning in a release. HP will use customer-relations management services for its direct sales and to track partnerships, said HP Chief Operating Office Jon Flaxman.

"This brings us a cloud-based solution that delivers a more effective and efficient collaboration engine across our business," According to Jon Flaxman, HP's Chief Operating Officer.

Microsoft has proven time and again that they are a reliable and influential company that has successfully continued to build strength in software-as-a-service (SaaS). HP has every belief in Microsoft Dynamics' ability to handle sales processes and they do not seem to regret their decision to leave salesforce and oracle as soon as the software's capabilities were called into question.

There were rumors that Salesforce was in the lead as the world's largest enterprise SaaS vendor until Microsoft Dynamics eclipsed it and stole the lead. HP seems to be entering a lot of partnerships recently as they also just announced their acquisition of Samsung's printer business for $1.05 billion. This acquisition included 6,500 printing patents and 1,300 employees.
