Apple Realeased WatchOS 3 Update; Stock Investors Not Impressed

It's Christmas every September for Apple fans and tech giant Apple is Santa Claus. Just a week ago, the iPhone 7 was released along with the introduction of the new Apple Watch series 2 at the Apple event. This week, Apple just released 2 new surprises for us as the iOS 10 and WatchOS 3 update is now available to download and install on old iPhone models and original Apple Watches.

The Apple Watch series 2 has new and improved features that could make us consider not using our phones anymore, but that is highly unlikely. Of course, along with its introduction are comparisons with the Samsung Gear S3. Samsung Gear S3 has its strong points and that's why most consumers' hearts are torn between what appears to be the best smartwatches available in the market.

We have to admit that Apple Watches cost a fortune, and the original Apple Watch series one is not equipped with the latest features as the Apple Watch series two. This begs the question, do users of the original Apple Watches need to upgrade to the second generation?

Luckily, according to Mac Rumors, the answer is NO. Today, the WatchOS 3 update was released for the original Apple Watch series one and it should make you feel like you are wearing a brand new smartwatch in your wrist.

With the watchOS 3 installed on your Apple Watch series one, you now have the ability to quickly access and review recently used apps. This is made possible by the watchOS 3's newest feature where it houses the apps that you love to use or ones that you just used recently. If you are wondering this could slow down the original Apple Watch's performance, but surprisingly you won't have any problems with the loading time even if you store up to 10 houses on the dock.

Navigation has showed significant improvement in the watchOS 3, there will also be new activity sharing features, a new "breathe" app, new reminders, heart rate apps and applications that are tailored for wheelchair users as well.

Despite the exciting features that come with the watchOS 3, stock investors appear to be unimpressed with the latest updates. It doesn't phase Apple because they know that consumers are loving every bit of it.

These are just few of the many exciting updates integrated in the watchOS 3. The Verge reports that Apple Watch users can choose between 3 different watchfaces included in the watchOS 3. You can choose from Numerals, Minnie Mouse and Activity. The Numerals give the Apple Watch a look that mimics a simple digital watch, Activity is perfectly suited for people with active lifestyle and Minnie Mouse is the best choice for those who are still young at heart.
