The phenomenal success of the hit anime series "One Punch Man" is evident with its massive fan base patiently waiting for its impending Season 2.

Recent reports claim that the highly anticipated release might happen sooner than expected. So soon that it might even be in time before Halloween.

It can be recalled that "One Punch Man" Season 2 is said to air later this year or early 2017. However, with new rumors of an earlier release, fans can see a ray of hope that their long wait will be over.

If the said rumors are true, "One Punch Man" could hit TV screens this month or early October, a perfect early Christmas gift for avid fans of the show.

Although reports claim an earlier release, it is worth noting that all seven volumes of the popular manga by One and Yusuke Murata have been covered in "One Punch Man" Season 1. The series was said to cover three to five chapters of the manga per episode. With that kind of pace, Madhouse Entertainment might have to wait for new story arcs to be assigned for Season 2.

Meanwhile, other rumors have been circulating online about possible plots and enemies that Saitama might face. According to reports, Saitama will face Garou, who is allegedly his strongest opponent.

Apparently, Garou is the only character that can take on and survive Saitama's powerful punch. He utilizes his incredible strength for evil doings. Garou can also put up a great fight which was believed to intrigue Saitama.

There are also rumors claiming that Saitama's powers will vanish as he takes on Amai Mask and Boros. That will then lead to Saitama's first defeat in "One Punch Man" Season 2.

No solid release date has been confirmed for "One Punch Man" Season 2. For now, fans can only hope to get that early Halloween release.
