Clash of Clans Update: Supercell Announces Arranged Wars / Clan Challenges

Clash of Clans will soon have a new upcoming feature. Super Cell recently announced that the new addition will be called Arranged Wars or Clan Challenges.

Clash of Clans: Arranged Wars / Clan Challenges Details

Supercell representative Anoushka recently posted about the upcoming Arranged Wars / Clan Challenges in the official forum. This feature will enable a clan to challenge other clans via a "War request". Once the challenge has been accepted by another Clan, preparation for war follows.

Clan Challenge seems similar to Clan Wars but it's not. Arranged Wars participants' get to choose the length of preparation time and how many days the war will last. Clan Challenges also cannot be issued while a Clan War is being held at the same time.

Anoushka also mentioned that Arranged Wars will receive "better support" from Supercell. This is probably meant to encourage Clash of Clan players to set up Clan Challenges as well as get sponsors for such events. The Supercell spokesperson promised to provide more news about the upcoming Arranged Wars in the days to come.

Clan Challenge Speculation

There are speculations about what Supercell meant of "better support". Could CoC players expect rewards for winning in Arranged Wars? YouTube CoC presenter Galadon Gaming speculates that rewards may be given out if players used trained troops in Clan Challenges. Rewards may be in the form of trophies, ranks, badges or even clan titles.

There is also some speculation that Clan Challenges can be elevated to regional meets because of the freedom to adjust the duration of preparation and battle time. Supercell also has to clarify if the Clan Challenge feature will be included in the upcoming update or if it's still a work in progress. Most CoC fans hoped it's the former. Nevertheless, Clash of Clans: Arranged Wars will be one of the most highly anticipated modes of this year.
