'Game Of Thrones' E-Book Released By Apple: Updates And Preview

Apple has yet to launch another milestone in the reading field as it announced the release of "Enhanced Editions" of the hit series "Game of Thrones" by George R.R. Martin.

According to TechCrunch, the "Enhanced Edition" lets iBook users experience the hit series in a whole new level, by providing interactive antics. This also includes interactive character maps, annotations, glossaries, house summaries and other helpful tools.

As cited in Engadget, through this interactive e-book, users could just tap on the names of the new characters and details will immediately pop-up. This also helps in explaining where a specific character was on during the previous times. Annotation was also served to further elaborate historical details in just one tap.

An appendix is also made available for the readers to explain 92 house sigils, with information regarding its symbolism, house seat, region and alliances.

Not just that, whoever gets to purchase the newly released "Enhanced Edition" will get to see a preview of the Book Six of "Game of Thrones" entitled "The Winds of Winter"

"The digital book gives readers the ability to experience all this rich secondary material that had not been possible before. These enhanced editions available only on iBooks include sigils and family trees and glossaries. Anything that confuses you, anything you want to know more about, it's right there at your fingertips"

The "Game of Thrones Enhanced Edition" is available for 9 dollars. Apple also released a statement regarding pre-ordered "A Clash of Kings", "A Storm of Swords", "A Feast for Crows"and "A Dance with Dragons" for 12 dollars. This would surely make reading more fun and interactive.
