Competing with the Kardashians, one of the most-watched families in the world, is a big challenge for other reality stars. However, Gigi Hadid and boyfriend Zayn Malik showed at the Paris Fashion Week they have also what it takes to be noticed by fashionistas.
The pair’s affectionate display for photographers upon their arrival at the Paris Fashion Week presentation for Givenchy SS17 on Sunday night was more than enough to keep the cameras clicking. Add as well the leggy display of supermodel Gigi Hadid for a rare night off from the catwalk. She came in sporting a white mini dress with designs on the sleeve, collar and chest, while her boyfriend rocked a pair of black pants and T-shirt with a circular design on the middle and a silver chain around the neck.
Competition With Kendall Jenner
But while offering competition to Kendall Jenner, Hadid at the same time supported her BFF who once more wowed the crowd when she stormed the catwalk. With her slicked back hair, Jenner successfully disguised herself among the modeling world’s elite as just another number.
The fashion show featured designer Riccardo Tisci’s naturally occurring crystals and stone providing the spring-summer Givenchy show vivid designs which evoked lattices and color in myriad styles. With his veering away from more aggressive, combative aesthetic, observers said it is one of the quirkiest collections in years from Givenchy and not typical of Tisci.
Although she did not model, Kim Kardashian made sure her ample assets are noticed by the audience by wearing a white lace dress with just a silk gown drape over her shoulders to conceal her unsupported ample bosom. She also had a lace corset that provided accent to her tiny waistline as if she had not given birth to two children.
Gigi Hadid Lost Her Footing
Although Hadid had walked so many runways, the supermodel slipped on the ramp on Saturday at another Paris Fashion Week show. She wobbled on her high heels, but quickly steadied her footing and resumed her walk as if nothing happened. At the event Hadid modeled the Womenswear Spring/Summer 2017 collection of Thierry Mugler, according to News18.
