Luckily though for these struggling players because some high-level hard-core "Destiny: Rise of Iron" fanatics have found a location to farm tons of Exotic Engrams and increase Light level.

"Destiny: Rise Of Iron" - Farming For Exotic Engrams In Venus

Before making your way to the Scourge of Winter mission on Venus, make sure to bring along with you a Rocket Launcher because you will use this to kill boss Draksis and yourself simultaneously.

Here's a step-by-step guide in farming in Scourge of Winter where there is plenty of Exotic Engrams to farm:

1. Select Scourge of Winter, the 14th story mission in "Destiny."

2. Go through the story mission and make your way to Draksis at the end of the mission.

3. Remember to consume a Three of Coins before crossing the threshold of his chamber to boost your chances on an Exotic Engram drop.

4. Take down the boss and yourself simultaneously. Defeating Draksis should never be hard as it only takes a few hits to defeat him. To do this, bring Draksis to his last few breaths and detonate the Rocket Launcher. This should be enough to kill Draksis and yourself both simultaneously.

5. Respawn as fast as you can for you to score more Exotic Engrams that Draksis will drop.

6. Perform this process all over again until such time you get what you came for, i.e. more and more Exotic Engrams.

According to players who have tried this technique, up to 10 Exotic Engrams can be gained within an hour. Not to mention, tons of House Banners and Purples await along the mission.
