A new season of a tv show definitely equates happiness to the cast, crew and viewers. But it seems that the third installment of the dramedy “Jane The Virgin” sets a sad tune to its main characters Gina Rodriguez (Jane) and Justin Baldoni (Rafael)?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rodriguez revealed that the upcoming season has a lot of drama to offer and that will put every viewer to sadness and grief.

“This season brings out a different side of the normally lighthearted Jane. “You see her in the lowest of lows. It’s very heavy.”

It looks like fans of the famous series will have to embrace a different Jane this time. Well, Rodriguez’s statements stirred more excitement, right?

Not only is the show’s lead star feeling low about the storyline of “Jane The Virgin” season 3, her co-star Baldoni, who plays the biological father of her child bluntly admitted that he finds the script terrible.

A report noted Baldoni’s response when asked about the fate of the telenovela’s third season.

“When I read that (script of Jane the Virgin season 3), I got a little sick to my stomach. I was like, ‘That is wrong!’”

Could it be that his desire of winning Jane’s love will be divided because of Michael?

It was previously speculated that Brett Dier (Michael) will survive the shooting in the previous season. Rodriguez dropped a major hint that the actor will reprise his role in the new season via Instagram when she posted a photo of them while on set.

Adding riot to the love triangle is Jane’s old crush slated to join the show. Wow, Jane must be in a chaotic scenario given that three guys will chase her.

“Jane The Virgin” season 3 premieres on Oct. 17.
