One of the best things about Overwatch is the wide-range of heroes to choose from. And take note: each of them are unique in terms of abilities and/or skills. But of course, fans want more than that. They want a new hero that'll bring more fun to the game. Well, this is where Sombra will play a significant role. While the character's existence has yet to have a certainty, there are rumors surrounding her. Well, here's everything we know about the new hero.

The Overwatch Sombra Development

Truth is, Blizzard has been play-testing the aforementioned Overwatch hero since time immemorial. According to Ecumenical News, Jeff Kaplan himself revealed that the development of Sombra has since started -- way before the talks about her have surfaced. But of course, the studio isn't that quick to reveal anything about her coming. So sadly, her release date is still unknown.

The Overwatch Halloween Loot Boxes

As previously reported here at iTech Post, an Overwatch leak was discovered in the official Xbox Store. To the surprise of many, it gave a preview of the upcoming Halloween event as well as the new hero Sombra. On it, a candy which has the face of the hero, was found in the basket. This, in one way or another, somehow implies that the character is close to becoming a reality. If anything else, it could arrive later this month or on the first week of November.

A Wikia Page For The Overwatch Hero

Believe it or not, the Overwatch community has came up with a Wikia page that discusses all the hint and/or clues pointing to Sombra's existence. Whether or not some of them are rumors, they're all interesting to note. And indeed, it's quite remarkable considering that Blizzard has yet to confirm her existence.
