Pablo Escobar is dead but this doesn't spell the end for Netflix original series "Narcos." The show continues on to a new arc which, according to plot rumors, would be the Cali Cartel. With the series renewed for another two seasons, there are many theories on what would happen and how the next events would unfold. Spoiler sites also discussed the possible major plot lines for "Narcos" season 3 and season 4.
"Narcos" After Escobar's Death
After Escobar's death, "Narcos" seems to have lost its main lead but as pointed out, it doesn't mean that the story ends. The cartel system will continue in spite of the death of one of the biggest movers in the Columbian drug syndicate. With Medellin Cartel out of the picture, the throne is empty and there are many players who want it. Pacho and Orejuela could lead their group and restore Escobar's dream. The southern Colombia drug syndicate will cover much of what happens in the series or so the trailers reveal.
In the next episodes, the Cali Cartel will take center stage. Eric Newman, one of the showrunners for "Narcos" season 3, received a barrage of questions but he wasn't forthcoming on what's going to happen. He hinted on possible plots for the third season. The hottest rumor right now claims that season 3 will mark the comeback of Los Pepes. At the same time, the show teased viewers on Twitter that "Narcos" season 3 would lead to more deaths.

“Narcos” Season 3 and 4 Plot Lines
After the production team behind “Narcos” promised that they won’t stop until drugs will stop, there’s bound to be more intricate plot twists. While season 3 would feature Cali cartel and their sophisticated network, the next season is believed to be the Mexican cartel. The arc of how Cali follows Escobar’s footsteps could ultimately lead to how the Mexican cartel do their dirty work as show creators hinted in their interviews.
"Narcos" season 3 will be back on Netflix in 2017 although there's no fixed date for its return yet.
