LeBron James And Dwyane Wade In A Friendly Bet On World Series Duel Between Cubs-Indians

This will go down as one of the epic storybook endings in Baseball's World Series history. Two of the most storied franchise in MLB history is about to test each other.

It doesn't matter if you are a Chicago Cubs fan or Cleveland Indians fan, everybody should enjoy this once in a lifetime meeting between two teams who experienced the longest drought in MLB History. It's been 108 years since the Cubs won a title and 67 years for Cleveland Indians.

Before we proceed with the numbers on who has the edge against each other. Let us check first the some of the reactions when the Cubs defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers to advance in World Series. The reaction made waves throughout the country and the POTUS(President of the United States), Barack Obama, who is from Chicago, immediately reacted when his hometown won the game.

"I'll say it: Holy Cow, @Cubs fans. Even this White Sox fan was happy to see Wrigley rocking last night. #FlyTheW" said President Barack Obama.

"That look when you cap off a day on the trail by watching the@Cubs cement their trip to the #WorldSeries. #FlyTheW" Nick Merrell posted.

"It's happening !!! No more next year baby, meet you in Chicago... Cubs are going to the World Series !!!" Jeremy Piven posted with him in the diamond.

Then there was LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Wade is one of Chi-Towns finest and he immediately issued a challenge to King James and his beloved Cleveland Indians. The challenge was more of a bet when the 4x time MVP James posted "@DwyaneWade Absolutely!! We're placing a nice bet and more on this one my friend! #WorldSeries #RallyTogether" .

So Who Is The Early Favorite For This Year's World Series?

The stats that were gathered are the actual numbers from both teams. As they say, numbers don't lie. According to OddsShark, the Cubs open the series at -185 while the Indians are at +160. Which gives the Cubs the edge to win the series, after 108 years. But don't count out the Indians as their basketball counterpart, Cleveland Cavaliers, was able to overcome a 3-1 deficit.

Will the boys from Chi Town finally get a ring after one century? Or will the Cleveland Indians start another party in downtown Ohio. Who is it gonna be?
