The series “Frontier” is yet to make its debut on television but it has been decided recently that it has been renewed for a second season. Ken MacDonald, Vice-President and General Manager at Discovery Canada revealed through The Hollywood Reporter that, “As we started to see this cinematic, well-cast, and meticulously produced series come to life as we’d imagine for season one, we knew we’d created a uniquely immersive world and story that begged for expansion to a second season.” He also further said, “Our decision to begin filming another six episodes before the series’ world premiere is a testament to our confidence in Frontier’s world-class storytelling.”

Jason Momoa has clearly hit the jackpot as he's been quite busy filming for roles left and right. He became famous when he was recognized for his perfect portrayal of the infamous character, Khal Drogo, from the “Game of Thrones” series.
