Pokemon Sun And Moon Trailer Highlights Four Unique Guardian Pokemon

The Pokemon Company continues to excite their fans as they have recently released another Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer. The new trailer reveals additional information hidden across the Alola region. Aside from the confirmation of the previous datamined information regarding the final evolution of Rowlet, Litten and Popplio, the latest video footage also highlights the four unique guardian Pokemon and their Z-move.

According to Game Rant, these four unique guardian Pokemon are said to be protecting each islands of Alola. Since Tapu Koko was introduced a bit earlier, we only saw the three remaining guardian Pokemon in the new Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer. Based on the report, each of these guardians are named "Tapu".

According to the report from Polygon, the first of the three guardian Pokemon is Tapu Bulu. It is categorized as both grass and fairy type Pokemon which protects the island of Ula'ula. Next is the much tinier Tapu Lele which only listed as three foot eleven. It is a psychic/fairy type Pokemon which uses its scales to heal others. Tapu Lele is also more inclined being a tactician since it uses abilities with status-effect to its advantage.

Lastly, to complete the list is Tapu Fini. A Water type Pokemon and the guardian of Akala Island. Tapu Fini can control the waters of the ocean to produce fog, mist and other water-based attacks. It was said that Tapu Fini remains expressionless which could potentially demoralize its opponents. The four guardian Pokemon also share a similar Z-move called the Guardian of Alola attack which summons a giant avatar body and makes the four Tapu as the head.

Additionally, the video trailer also reveals Cosmog, a Nebula Pokemon. Based on the rumors, only one remaining Cosmog is present in Alola, while even very few of the locals know of its existence. As previously reported via datamine, Cosmog was introduced as the pre-evolved form of Lunaala alongside Solgaleo's pre-evolved form.
