Apple and Microsoft released new products this week and Microsoft looks a little sexier and more innovative than Apple in the world of technology at the moment.

Microsoft has brought the Surface design approach to the desktop with the new Studio all-in-one, which has a screen that kneels down into a "drawing board" mode on the desktop.

Microsoft unveiled the Surface Studio, an all-in-one PC with a 28-inch PixelSense display, with the thinnest display ever built. Stunning design and impulsively price tag.

Apple has revealed the new MacBook Pro, featuring a touch-sensitive display on its keyboard called the Touch Bar. The screen takes the place of the function keys.

Mentioned from The Verge, Yet it's clear this very expensive PC cannot do it all. Now, it's Microsoft's job to convince creatives that the drawbacks involved are equal to that of buying an Apple iMac and that this time around, the Windows machine should win out.

Microsoft's Panos Panay - the man behind the Surface range - has carved out a significant niche in the PC market since launching in 2012. A mighty achievement given the market has been declining significantly for the last few years.

Panay has essentially created a mini version of Apple within Microsoft, with the Surface team laser-focused on detail and premium design, eschewing the traditional Microsoft ethos of building something for everyone, according to IBT Times.

Microsoft's HoloLens appears to be shaping up to be a very interesting take on virtual reality headsets. HoloLens is a big part of the play, as well. Microsoft demoed how the images created in Paint can be imported into the Edge browser and viewed in 3D on the device and using Microsoft's Edge browser and the new 3D model library, users would be able to pull the digital 3D object into the AR environment created by your HoloLens.

Cortana is one of Windows 10's most visible new features. Microsoft's virtual assistant makes the leap from Windows Phone to the desktop, and there's a lot you can do with it. It isn't just a voice assistant either - you can also type commands, questions and Cortana features will follow you everywhere, too.

One of the last Biggest updates Microsoft announced was how much easier Windows 10 will make it message family and friends straight from your desktop.

"I'm not only taking something from the physical world and making it digital and I'm also taking something that was temporary and saving it forever." says, Megan Saunders, General manager at Microsoft.
