Thor: Ragnarok' Latest Rumors: Valkyrie Reveals New Makeup Plus A New Major Character

A new look of Valkyrie was revealed by the cast and crew of "Thor: Ragnarok" on their final day of shooting. The team was kind enough to post their Facebook Live session for the waiting fans to see. It was only a 14-minute video clip but was enough to reveal how Valkyrie has changed her look

How Does The New Valkyrie Looks Like"?

Fans of the previous "Thor" movies already have a general idea of how Valkyrie looks like. When they see the video clip, they will be amazed at how "Thor Ragnarok" has transformed her appearance. One thing they changed is the ditching of the Wagnerian look. The current look is something more like Asgardian.

The interesting part is the setting of the place. It has a huge pile of trash since the final scenes involved a big scrapyard where old spaceships get junked. In the video, there's a hint given if the viewer only listens closely. The name "Miek" was just mentioned in passing. Fans have to listen intently to catch it.

A New Character Is Introduced

Miek is a major character in the very popular "Planet Hulk" story plot. Avid fans of the Marvel series have been waiting for this character to be portrayed on the big screen. In that story, the Hulk was transported into space to save the earth but he lands on another planet where a brutal empire reigns.

The Video Clip Reveals Interesting Things

The video clip is a candid walk through of an outdoor set of the film taken during one of their downtimes. Taika Waititi, the director of "Thor/; Ragnarok" posted it on Facebook. He is pictured in the video, along with Tess Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the movie, and Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor.

The cast was joking around partly because of the new look of Valkyrie. Traditionally, she was pictured as having classic blond hair and Nordic facial characteristics. But with her odd-looking facial makeup which is part of her costume, she now looks very different.
