Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Day One Patch Notes Released, To Bring Weapon Rebalances And More

A few days before the official launch, the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare day one patch notes have been revealed by Infinity Ward. Devs have taken notes during the beta period of which to improve, so players can hope that the final product will be more balanced. Apart from weapons, changes can be expected on matchmaking, modes, spawning and more.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Patch Notes

"We received a ton of great data from the Beta, allowing us to take a hard look at all of the guns and we will make changes as needed," Infinity Ward wrote on Reddit regarding the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare patch. "Here are some of the immediate tweaks we will be implementing."

First off, the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare patch will rebalance weapons. The shotgun will have increased consistency in damage, increased damage at longer range and increased one-shot kill range. It will also bring quite a number of changes to snipers, such as a reduced aim assist for the KBS Longbow and other weapons, improved Tracking Chip optic's visuals, disabling of aim assist in Sniper-class weapons until the eye fully meets the optic and more.

The Health regeneration time will also be reduced and the spawn system will be refined. In terms of economy, the patch will change the value of the currency in supply drops, increase the gains from salvage in mission teams and increase the keys' drop rate in round-based modes.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Matchmaking Fixes

Players will rejoice that the matchmaking time has been reduced, with Infinity Ward claiming that the original process was "too strict." The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare patch will also bring fixes to geographic bugs and queueing issues.

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Defender, Gun Game and Domination Modes will also have some changes and improvements. Other aspects that were addressed are Time to Kill/Engagement, Dedicated Servers, Scorestreaks and Rigs, and Perks and Rig Traits.

Players can expect the patch on day one of release. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare drops on Nov. 4 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
