Battlefield 1 vs Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: Which is Better?

Prior to its official release, Battlefield 1 has been well received by both fans and critics especially with its numerous multiplayer options and amazing theme on its genre. Most of the people have pointed out that the game feels genuinely different from other FPS as it incorporates the WW1 history on the game; making it more realistic and thrilling.

It's no wonder that after its debut, EA DICE's new title was met with critical acclaim by most shooter fans. To date, the game is still enjoying positive reviews from its community and is constantly being compared to its rival, Activision's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Apparently, a recent tweet from the official Twitter page of Battlefield 1 has sparked arguments among two diverse communities. Which one is better, Battlefield 1 or Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare?

Battlefield 1 or Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare?

There's no definitive answer to this question as essentially, although the two share the same genre, there's a huge disparity between the theme and time-line between the two. Battlefield 1 takes its fans a tour into the past specifically the story of World War 1 while Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare takes its community into a futuristic journey where interplanetary travels and futuristic equipment are the name of the game.

In short, it all boils down to what your desired preference will be: are you into classic FPS or futuristic FPS? Personally, I like Battlefield 1 as it just feels more realistic to me and the vast arrays of multiplayer options offers a lot of thrills to you and your friends. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still a sick game with all of its visuals and co-ops and most notably its space exploration settings.

Conclusion

If you prefer space travel and futuristic FPS approach then I highly recommend the Infinite Warfare to you as it also offers essentially the same amount of thrills as the Battlefield 1 can provide. But if you're into more realistic and classic FPS shooting then Battlefield 1 is definitely the game for you (although most of the time, you might be seeing flying tanks and people jumping from an aircraft without any parachutes). Nonetheless, both games are arguably the hottest FPS games for 2016.
