Several Pokemon Go fans showcased their creativeness as they put together remarkable Pokemon Go-inspired Halloween costumes. Some of them dressed as Pokemon Trainers, PokeStops and more. Pokemon Go immediately rose to popularity last summer due to its unique style of gameplay. Though the game slowly declined, it still did not stop several fans in recognizing the game during this Halloween season.
According to Kotaku, numerous players decided to honor Pokemon Go with creative costumes due to the game's huge success and the excitement it brought to people. There are different types of Pokemon Go costumes sported by the fans. However, one that stands out is from a YouTuber named mattycborgelt. It basically simulates the activity of capturing a Pokemon. In addtion, it also functions similar to a PokeStop where passersby will be able to spin the icon and will get rewarded with a PokeBall.
Aside from the impressive Pokemon Go costume of mattcborgelt, there are othercool and unique ideas that surfaced across the internet. For instance, a Halloween costume created by redditor named TerpBE transformed his kids into Pokemon from the game. TerpBE's Halloween costume includes a smartphone where the game is being played on.
According to Game Rant, TerpBE's costume features Pokemon that can be caught in the game, however, it seems like most fans have PokeStops as their costumes. Reddit user named justinhanks designed his own Halloween costume with a PokeStop that has a lure module. In addition, several Pokemon are hanging to his outfit which represents the effect of lure module. Reddit user lookatthemonkeys dressed himself as a PokeStop with a trainer beside him to resemble the ones found in the game.
Other Halloween costumes highlight several in-game features such as Buddy Pokemon. Some also dressed as their favorite Pokemon. In general, it seems like Pokemon Go fans are still in the hype despite the game becoming too boring at some point. Hopefully Niantic will continue to bring new updates that will excite their players even more.
