General Motors To Increase Chevrolet Bolt Production

General Motors (GM) is among those considered to be one of the most renowned names in the auto industry. It has kept up with trends, set trends of its own and it continues to bring quality vehicles for the auto market. With higher demands for electric cars lately, GM started to pick up the pace in the production of their Chevrolet Bolt electric cars.

New Electric Car Option

With more and more electric cars from different manufacturers such as Ford, Nissan and Tesla being introduced to the market, GM is adding one more option in the mix with their Chevrolet Bolt. Reuters reported that the production of the Chevrolet Bolt electric cars are on schedule and has been ramped up by GM to meet its promise of being able to deliver the vehicles on the market during the fourth quarter of the current year.

Capabilities And Features Of Chevrolet Bolt

According to HotHardware, the EPA-certified Chevrolet Bolt is capable of traveling 238 miles per change. This is twice what the current electric cars on the market can offer. Additionally, the Chevrolet bolt, given its size can also accelerate from zero to 60 in only six and a half seconds. Features like 10.2-inch central display backup camera, rearview camera mirror and a surround camera are also available along with heated front and back seats.

The Price Of And Availability Chevrolet Bolt

According to Hot Hardware, the price of the Chevrolet Bolt will start at $37,495 with $7,500 eligibility. This will basically push down the price to less than $30,000. The availability of the Chevrolet Bolt will be sometime before this year ends.

With reasonable price and a tempting promise of high mileage, consumers will surely take it into consideration. Other automakers may need to rethink their strategies upon the entry of the Chevrolet Bolt.
