HTC Bolt Launch Set For November 11 According To Rumors

The latest device from HTC is set for a November launch, if rumors prove true. The HTC Bolt will be launched on November 11 on Sprint.

News of the existence of the HTC Bolt was first leaked in September. A press render surfaced with an image of the supposed HTC Bolt showing the part where the 3.5 mm headphone jack would be.

Another leak indicated that the new HTC device will be called the HTC 10 Evo but it is now likely that the name has been changed to Bolt.

In most of the leaks, the Sprit logo was visible. The latest news that the smartphone will be launched on Sprint confirms its involvement.

Specifications

The renders have mentioned some of the specifications and other features of the HTC Bolt.

If the rumors prove true, the Bolt will have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 under its hood.

The new HTC phone will also have a 5.5-inch QHD display which will be water (IP57 rating) and dust resistant. It will come with a 16 megapixel camera at the rear and a front-facing 8 megapixel camera.

It will also ship with a 3,200 mAh fast-charging battery capable of providing a full day charge in just 30 minutes of charging.

Other features and bundles

Some of the innovative features of the latest HTC device include the Indus Swipe, Indus Reader, Indus Messaging, Word and Matra Prediction, Hybrid Keyboard, and Auto Correction.

The Indus Swipe translates texts between English and the regional language while Indus Messaging provides free messaging between Indus and OS users.

The HTC Bolt will come with a pair of BoomSound Adaptive Audio headphones. The headphones provide fast automatic measurements and calibrations to adapt to the user's ears.

It also utilizes the USB Type-C which makes sense since the previous leaks showed that the Bolt will ditch the traditional jack.

Another rumor is currently floating that HTC will release another device called the HTC 11.
