2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Coming Real Soon: Buyers Excited, Lining Up For Purchase

Ford Motors has proven itself as one of the greatest in producing amazing vehicles. Now, Ford has done it once again as it introduces the new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. It is still a month away from the market and buyers are already excited about it, lining up to get their hands on one of these beasts.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor - Beast Within

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is equipped with 3.5-liter second generation EcoBoost. According to The News Wheel, this is even more powerful than the 411 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque from the current generation 6.2-liter V8. The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will also have a four-wheel-drive (4WD) feature and torque-on demand transfer case. This is to help increase traction during off-road drives by distributing power between both the front wheels and the rear ones.

Other Features Of F-150 Raptor

Standard Fox racing shock absorbers and Torsen front differential are among those that will be expected from the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. The News Wheel also added that the Raptor will have six different driving modes namely, normal mode, street mode, weather mode, mud and sand mode, Baja mode and rock mode. No further details have been given about it as it these modes are said to be self-explanatory.

Buyers Excited, Lining Up For Purchase

It would appear that a lot of people are already lining up to get their hands on one of these beasts. In fact, Torque News reported that some people have already made deposits to Ford dealerships all over the country to get their hands on the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor once they arrive at the dealerships. The same report stated that one dealership owner; Steve Olliges said that he was forced to turn away buyers with cash due to the allocation limit for the 2017 model year.
