"Vanderpump Rules" has one of its rudest scenes when James fat-shamed Katie and even threw his drink on the hapless lady. But that was not the thing that made the audience wait for the next episode. It was the pre-wedding drama between Katie and Tom that made the fans really concerned.

That Drama Will Forever Change Tom And Katie

In an interview with E! News Studio, the queen, Lisa Vanderpump spilled the beans on the current status of the marriage of Tom and Kate. She indicated that whatever happened to the two, they will never be the same. What did she mean by that?

"Something big went down, and I think it changed things," replied Vanderpump when asked about the current state of Tom and Katie's relationship, after the show's previous season ended. "So yeah. You won't get to see that till the end, but you're going to have a hell of a ride getting there, that's for sure," she added.

Lisa also indicated that much of the "Vanderpump Rules" season will be focused on this Tom-Katie drama. This will include the very highs and the very lows. "The journey toward the wedding was pretty much a roller coaster and I got involved more than I normally would, because it just seemed so complicated," Lisa explained.

"Sometimes when they were together, it was quite sad in some ways," she continued. But it's a journey, and I think people will be invested in what transpires this season, definitely. Ultimately, they got married, so we do know the ending," Lisa added.

Mike Shay Says He Is Still Here

Meanwhile, there are rumors going around that Mike Shay will no longer show up in "Vanderpump Rules." Mike has struggled with painkiller addiction before, and he failed to return home from a band practice on Nov. 2. Scheana, his wife, even feared that he might have "fallen off the wagon." But Mike has surfaced recently and has written in his Instagram account that "I am not missing. I am sober. I am Happy!!!"
