The highly-anticipated stealth action-adventure game Dishonored 2 is available now. However, some Dishonored 2 players are having problems with subtitles after installation, and some want to change it. Follow the guide bellow to change your subtitle text.
Set Overall Language. First, you have to set the overall language of your game Dishonored 2. Navigate to the game properties in Steam Library and hover to the language tab. Select your preferred language. This is selection is now the overall language of the game.
Set Text Language. Locate the "base" folder in your Dishonored 2 Steam directory or go to "Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored2\base". Search for the file named "SKUConfig.txt" and open it. You will see the lines:
What you are going to do next is find the language you want to set as the subtitle and place it in the first part after the word TEXT. Please be aware that there are two pointers in the lines which are TEXT and AUDIO, don't be confused. For example, you want a Spanish language, set the text like this:
You can also set your preferred language here by doing the same thing to the AUDIO. The first language you set after the words TEXT and AUDIO are the language which will appear in the game.
