PS4 Pro reportedly offers a marked improvement for multiplayer performance and campaign in Battlefield 1. The campaign is said to benefit from increased resolution and smoother frame rates. Polyphony Digital reportedly noted that the Pro also improved the graphics of the racing video game Gran Turismo.

Digital Foundry reportedly examined the impact the PS4 Pro has on Battlefield 1's campaign. The site noted that the console provides a huge boost to image quality. The game is said to deliver a mid-point between consoles and top-end PCs.

Frame rate is said to be the focus of the PS4 Pro. The site reportedly tested the original PS4 with the PS4 Pro side by side. Two gamers reportedly played in the same online match, same squad and with just about the same gameplay.

The PS4 Pro reportedly offers 10 to 15 frames per second consistently. Furthermore, the site noted that the PS4 Pro never dips below 33ms or 30 fps. Hence, the frame rate is said to be noticeably smoother on the Pro.

Moreover, in the heat of action, the PS4 Pro is said to offer more visual feedback as well as a crisper response. High-end players are said to get more out of the game with the Pro hardware.It should be noted that in a multiplayer shooter game, a split-second slowdown spells the difference between life and death.

In other news, Polyphony Digital president creator Kazunori Yamauchi is said to be a keen driver. As for Yamauchi-san, the PS4 Pro reportedly marks a historical moment. On that note, it is expected that Gran Turismo will exceed the quality of images in packaged media, broadcasting and movies.

The PS4 Pro reportedly pushed Gran Turismo with dynamic 4K at 60 frames per second. HDR and 18GB VPS uncompressed stream is also said to be included along with wide color support.
