Kanye West Hospitalized After Canceling Concert; Rapper Reportedly Suffering Nervous Breakdown Due To Fight With Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z

Kanye West was taken to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 21 for psychiatric evaluation, according to reports. The rapper has canceled the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour after his onstage rant and walk-out during his Sacramento concert on Saturday, Nov. 19.

The rapper was taken to the hospital following a disturbance call on Monday afternoon. The Daily Mail reported that West had a nervous breakdown due to stress, exhaustion and sleep deprivation and was hospitalized for his own safety. The report further revealed that the breakdown might be caused by the rapper's problems with his wife, Kim Kardashan, and his fight with Jay-Z.

"At 13:20 Pacific Time, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an unspecified medical aid request... An adult male described as medically stable was taken to an area hospital for further assessment," a representative of the LA Fire Department told BBC.

After the news broke, Kardashian, who was supposed to have her first appearance at the East Coast event after the Paris robbery, was spotted going back to Los Angeles late Monday. The reality star was reportedly against the tour in the first place and wanted her husband to be with her while she recovers from her traumatic experience in Paris. However, West went on with it anyway only to cancel it right after. The singer will lose $10 million due to the canceled show.

West did not give a reason for canceling the performances but Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, spoke to the media about the tour cancelation. "He's exhausted, he's just really tired. He's had a gruelling tour and it's been a grind so he just needs some rest," she said during a guesting on "Extra."

The rapper only sang three songs during his concert before ranting to the crowd about Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton, and Jay-Z whom he said sent hitmen for him. His agency, Live Nation, announced that tickets for the concert will be refunded.
