Pokemon Sun And Moon News: Current Save Glitch Caused By A Cheat Tool?

Pokemon Sun and Moon has been receiving several reports from players that they are experiencing a glitch whenever they are saving inside a Pokemon Center and Battletree. Turning off the device after saving on the said areas would activate the glitch. The glitch will cause the players to get stuck behind a wall whenever they re-launch either of the two game titles.

According to the report from WWG, it seems like the save game glitch is not due to an error in Pokemon Sun and Moon's code. One reliable source said that it might be caused by a program called PKHeX. This program enables players to cheat and modify their respective save files. As reported, several players use PKHeX and similar programs to change their Pokemon into shiny or increase their stats. .

Based on the report from VG247, Kaphotics, creator of PKHeX, said that the save glitch was a known bug of the cheat tool and was already patched out last Nov. 18 build. This means keeping your illegal software up to date is also a must in order not to experience any problem.

Kaphotics also noted that using the tool is technically cheating and before the patch, the program had this bug that would change the players' coordinates. For those players who are still wanting to use the program, it's suggested to update their PKHeX tool to get rid of the game-breaking glitch.

Meanwhile, it is also possible that there are several players who have also encountered this save glitch without using any cheating tool. However, Nintendo still has not provided any comments about this recent Pokemon Sun and Moon issue. Players are now advised to take more caution upon saving their Pokemon Sun and Moon game.
