BTS News: V And Jin Confirmed To Join Singers To Do 'Hwarang' OST; Series To Air On December 19

It has already been announced that BTS’ V will be joining the cast of the upcoming series “Hwarang” and just recently another BTS member will participate in the series., Jin has been also confirmed to sing with V for the series’ OST. Aside from BTS members, B2ST’s Yoseob and Hyorin of SISTAR will also be singing for the series’ official soundtrack.

“Hwarang” is scheduled to air on December 19 at KBS2. Its story centers on a group of young men who are passionate about Seorabeol, the Kingdom of Silla’s capital. The series stars Go Ara, Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik and a guest appearance from Lee Kwang-soo. The new series started taping last March and finished in September of this year.

This is not the first time Hyorin to do an OST. It can be remembered that she also did the official soundtrack for “Warm and Cozy”, “Uncontrollably Fond”, the famous “You Who Came From the Stars”, and “The Sun of My Lord”. And if that’s not enough, Hyorin also did Korea’s version of “Frozen’s Let it Go”

Yoseob is another popular Kpop artist and has also done numerous OST for different series. This includes “Let’s Eat’, “Scholar Who Walks the Night”, and “The Night Watchman’s Journal”. Yoseob is a member of B2ST which is also known as BEAST and have been in the entertainment industry since 2009.

This will be the first time BTS member V to debut as an actor and will use his real name Kim Tae-hyung for the series. He plays the character of Han Sung, a very friendly and kind man, who always wanted peace and harmony to his fellowmen. Unfortunately, his actions became the cause of misunderstanding between families and his friends. As for Jin, he will be joining V to sing the “Hwarang” OST. This will be the first time fans will hear both BTS member doing a duet so fans just can’t wait to hear the song.
