‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Spoilers, News And Updates: Odin Exiled On Earth? Thor and Loki Working Together To Save Him? John Cena In A Cameo Role?
The fact that Thor is looking for Odin, his father, was indicated in the post-credits scene of "Doctor Strange." Odin is somewhere on earth and Thor needs all the help he can get including Loki's, his wayward brother. In "Thor: Ragnarok," the two will be working together. It seems a greater problem had forced them to set aside their differences
Who Banished Odin On Earth?
But it seems that it was Loki who exiled their father on earth. Odin is now presumed to be roaming around New York City streets as a homeless man. An IGN report said that this notion is based on some photos of Anthony Hopkins for "Thor: Ragnarok." There are also some rumors that Odin has lost his powers on earth. This is a situation that could be a lead-in to Thor's "Ultimates" version where he is portrayed, not as a god, but a powerless earthling.
Hopkin's pictures also show Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) on the set wearing human street clothes. There are speculations that they are looking for Odin in New York City. It is not clear what the real motives of Loki are in helping Thor. Perhaps there is a much bigger issue that confronts them to work things out together.
Who Will Be Doing Cameo Roles?
It is also rumored that Dr. Strange will be seen in "Thor: Ragnarok." This fact was teased by Benedict Cumberbatch himself. And it was hinted as mentioned before in the post-credit scenes of his movie "Dr. Strange." But it is not only Dr. Strange who will do a cameo role in this upcoming movie.
John Cena, a WWE celebrity, and a movie star himself will also appear in "Thor: Ragnarok." But in this case, Cena will appear as himself - a WWE wrestler. Apparently, he will cross paths with Thor and Loki as they search for their father in New York City
