Steep Review Copies Won't Be Released Before Launch, Ubisoft Announced; Season Pass DLC Details Unveiled

Steep has been making waves on the gaming world for its death-defying stunts and stunning visuals and we have to admit, they look real fun! With just a day away from its release, will the game live up to its awesome gameplay teased in their trailer?

The upcoming open world extreme Winter sports game, Steep, is set for launch tomorrow, Dec. 2. In tradition, the net would be flooding early game reviews, giving gamers a hint whether the title is a must-buy or a wait until the price is discounted. Unfortunately, we won't be getting any Steep game reviews until the game's launch as Ubisoft wants their latest title to be experienced by reviewers along with the rest of the gamers.

"To ensure a complete experience, Steep reviews will commence when servers are populated with actual players. With that in mind, reviewers will receive their copies of Steep on December 2 when it's released, enabling them to experience Steep's essential multiplayer functionality with a larger pool of online players," the game developer announced on their blog site.

Additionally, Ubisoft is offering Steep pre-load for those who have pre-ordered but this doesn't come with an early access. The game's servers will turn live at the same time for everyone.

Just to add more hype to Steep, Ubisoft had previously announced its Season Pass which includes gear that will help you on your adventure up to the Alps such as 10,000 Steep credits, in-game helicopter tickets to get you where you want to go quickly, and a snowman costume.

Steep Winter Fest Pack includes new costumes, new gear, new challenges and a special winter sled. The Adrenaline Pack, on the other hand, will include a new wingsuit, two additional outfits and boards and a special Moonlight Pack - three costumes, two wingsuits, three night challenges, and equipment.

Lastly, Steep Extreme Pack will give you a headstart with three new sports - base jumping, rocket wings and speed gliding. And yes, it comes off with new challenges.

Steep is released on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Dec. 2.
