Fantastic Beasts 2: Voldemort's Origins, His Real Father Is In The Prequel
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is so massive fans are craving for its sequel already. J.K Rowling does know the right mix for another successful franchise.
The Prequel That Made History
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them or basically the prequel to Harry Potter series was destined for greatness. Two weeks ago, they released the movie and the fans surely enjoyed it. According to the reports, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them smashed the box office hit by beating Marvel's Doctor Strange and Allied by Tom Cruise. They made a total of $74,403,387 weekend gross and gained the top spot last week, until Moana was released.
The movie opened up a lot of questions about origins of some of the beloved characters in Harry Potter series. They introduce us as well with the rivalry that started a long time ago. There were parts on the movie that made us think if we will see another Harry Potter series but all we can do is guess. If there is one character that is willing to return on the prequel, that would be He Who Must Not Be Named, Voldemort.
Voldemort And His Real Father
If you think we have seen Voldemort for the last time, well, you can throw that idea out of the building. Voldemort is the most despised character in the Harry Potter series. Ralph Fiennes, the actor who played Voldemort gave us reason to hate him. Although he is hated, without Voldemort in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter would not be completed. It's been five long years since we've seen Fiennes or Voldemort on his signature robes. However, he teased us with the possibility of coming back.
"You have to go to weird places in your head and - well you can never say never - but after an SS commandant, a serial killer in Red Dragon and Voldemort [in Harry Potter], I decided I didn't want to be that definition of evil any more. If you play those parts, I feel you have to put your head in the place of that person. And it f**ks with your head."Nonetheless, Voldemort will always have a special place in his heart. "[If] Voldemort came round again, I would feel possessive... protective. I would like to not let that go," he gushed.
A reddit user drop the bomb when his theory about Voldemort's real father came to life. His analysis and supporting data does point out that He Who Must Not Be Named's father is in the prequel Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Credence Barebone is his father according to reddit user. He then posted his claim on his account and by the numbers, it sound just right. Tom Riddle was born in 1926, the same year when the first Fantastic Beasts took placed.
Albus Dumbledore vs Gellert Grindelwald
So far, the only character from the Harry Potter series that is confirmed to return in the silver screen is, Albus Dumbledore. The great protector of Harry Potter will clash with one of the most feared wizard of all time, Gellert Grindelwald. There are speculations that the ageless Johnny Depp will play the role of Grindelwald and as for Dumbledore, they are looking for a replacement.
