The Last Of Us 2 First Look: First Story Details; Ellie As The Main Playable Character
The previous generation loved The Last of Us as one of the PlayStation exclusives. The Last Us Part 2 will now be coming to PS4, and due to this, Naughty Dog called for a panel last weekend to spread updated details about the game. The touching first trailer that was released for the The Last of Us Part 2 have generated more anticipation for the game.
The team that developed the original game will be working again for The Last of Us Part 2, which includes actors like Ashley Johnson, Troy Baker, Gustavo Santaolalla, Neil Druckmann. However, there will be a lot of changes. For the most part of the The Last of Us 2, Ellie will be the character that you will be playing instead of Joel as the focal point of the game. The original game has a short period that players will play as Ellie, but the player will play as Joel for most of the action parts of the game.
The Last of Us focuses on Joel and Ellie as its two main characters. In the The Last of Us 2, Ellie has grown older. According to Neil Druckmann, Ellie is now 19 since the game's setting is already years after the event that happened in the first game. He also said that they have spent so much thought about it and they are expecting that there will be lot of people that will fear the comeback of these characters especially that they will revisit what the ending truly meant.
The characters' idea is good according to Druckmann, since the second part of the game is specifically about those two characters and it is expected that it is going to offer a much larger story. It is planned to become a complimentary story in reference to the first game, according to Attack of the Fan Boy.
