Pokemon Go Update: Winter Event Release Date Leaked?

Since Pokemon Go has been released publicly several months ago, it gathered massive amounts of downloads overnight and it continues to grow overtime. However, it seems like the speed is relatively similar between reaching its peak and decline as Pokemon Go has also lost millions of players. Some players complained that the game lacked variety and was just simply a flat out boring game.

Previously, Niantic released its first-ever major event for Pokemon Go which brought a lot of bonuses. Though it may appear experimental, it actually worked. Currently, Niantic has been doing a great job adding several exciting new features and mini-events to maintain the strength of their player base.

According to the report from Otakukart, after the successful Halloween Event, players were hinting a possibility of a Winter Event to arrive in Pokemon Go which will give more bonuses and feature additions to make the game event more enticing. The said event has become a hot topic in the community until now.

Presently, it seems like the recent leaks hint a possible release date for Pokemon Go's Winter Event. The leaks mention that the upcoming Winter Event might arrive on the second week of December and will end on the final days of the month. It was reported that it will bring several Christmas bonuses just like the previous Halloween Event.

Fans also expect a huge increase of the spawn rate of ice Pokemon such as Lapras, Jynx, Seel, Dewgong, Shellder, Cloyster since they relate perfectly to the Winter season. A snowy game environment might also be added as well. Several known Pokemon Go's Winter Event suggestions include new costumes for the avatar and item bonus.

Moreover, Niantic still has not released any official statement regarding this upcoming Winter Event from the popular augmented reality game Pokemon Go.
