Setting the record straight, Jamie Dornan finally confirmed his relationship status with “Fifty Shades Darker” leading lady Dakota Johnson. The actor said in an interview that he’s grateful for the close friendship that he developed with the actress.

"Dakota and I get along well together," he said. "Only I know what she's going through, and only she knows what I'm going through. I'm thankful for that and that we have respect for each other - and we're great friends," Dornan said.

Despite their steady relationships with their respective partners, the two celebrities are still bombarded with romantic speculations that went as far as Dakota’s pregnancy and Jamie’s divorce with wife Amelia Warner. These ugly speculations were slammed by the Irish actor through his sweet date night with Amelia.

Just recently, the couple was spotted at The Curzon, Mayfair in London. Jamie was in full support of his wife for the red carpet premiere of “Mum’s List,” which music is developed by Amelia. They were seen holding each other’s hands throughout the night and the dashing Christian Grey was caught gazing adoringly at his lovely partner and looks smitten.

Dornan has always been vocal about his undying love for his wife and two adorable children. He makes sure that he spends quality time with his family despite his busy schedule.

Meanwhile, rumors have it that Dornan will play the role of “Justice League’s” Green Lantern. His strong followers were said to be excited about his alleged new project. However, there’s no truth to this report as he was not offered the latest superhero film. A source cited that DC Comics COO Geoff John said that DC Comics has not approached Dornan for the said role.
