Pokemon Go Update: New Pokemon Set To Join The Roster Soon

Pokemon Go originally has listed a total of a hundred and fifty-one Pokemon in the roster for players to catch them all. However, it was later discovered that there are several Pokemon present in the PokeDex that have not yet been included in the game particularly the Legendary type. Recently, the most awaited mimic Pokemon Ditto has been finally introduced into the game while Niantic confirms that brand new Pokemon will finally make their way to Pokemon Go.

According to the report from Game Rant, one reason why Pokemon Go is facing a massive decline is that players were tired of waiting for a new content to arrive. Niantic was well aware of this shortcoming and now prepares to release updates which contains new exciting additions every now and then. Recently, it seems like the most awaited remaining Pokemon will be arriving anytime soon as the company confirms their addition.

On a post by the Official Twitter account of Pokemon, it states that more Pokemon will arrive to Pokemon Go. However, there are no timeframe attached to the message and only noting that more details will be released on Dec 12.

It was indeed a big week for Pokemon Go as it was previously reported that Niantic did a major collaboration with Starbucks to host a Starbucks Event. This event will enable players to enjoy a Pokemon-themed drink at the popular coffee shop starting today. In addition, it was confirmed today that US cellular provider, Sprint, will turn more 10,000 of its locations into PokeStops where players can collect several in-game items.

Niantic seems to be actively working with partners in order to maintain Pokemon Go's playerbase. Though the message was not direct as to what Pokemon will be arriving to the game, however, fans are highly expecting that it points to the remaining Pokemon that are not yet available in the wild or perhaps it could lead to the most anticipated Gen 2 update. Nonetheless, Pokemon Go players will have wait until Dec. 12 for the official details regarding the announcement.
