Final Fantasy XV has an interesting way on how to keep the players busy. Square Enix has introduced Chocobo as one of the player's companion in the game. The player must keep in mind that taking care of these creatures requires patience.

How To Win In Chocobo Races In Final Fantasy XV?

Chocobo races are one activity that the player can do after beating Final Fantasy XV. The player can win in the races by knowing some tips in order to finish first in the race. If he is just racing against his friends, the player must pass all the checkpoints and get to the finish line first.

He must mind the stamina bar in order to know when to sprint. When the Chocobo's stamina is almost empty, he must do consecutive slides by pressing L2/LT. For harder races, he must feed his ride with greens in Kiliam Haven while letting it rest.

The Mini-map in the race indicates the location of his opponent. This will help the player to measure how much stamina will his Chocobo be needing. Also, this will be his heads up if the opponent is still far away from his location.

According to iDigital Times, there is also a race with checkpoints that has hoops, which the player and Chocobo must jump through. A vegetable will give Noctis boost and speed up a little more. So, the player must always remember to grab every vegetable along in the race.

What Are The Medals That Players Can Win In Chocobo Racing?

The player can win a Replica Medal by completing A Behemoth Undertaking Hunt. Another medal that a player can have is Short Course. The player has to win in Chocobo hoops in Grange Gallop chapter five. In Rocky Road chapter six, the player can win Long Course Medal.

A Rounsey Medal is earned once the player win the race against Prompto. A Destria Medal is rewarded if he defeated Gladio. If he manages to win against Ignis, he can get the Corsa Medal. In the Full Field race, he can win the Jennet Medal. If the player wins against Iris, he can get Fat Chocobo Medal and lastly, the Jockey Master Medal is rewarded to him after getting all the medals.

Why Is It Necessary To Level Up A Chocobo?

Of course, a player must know how to reach level 10 of his Chocobo. As per Shack News, the iconic creature can be more powerful when the player has successfully passed all the levels. The first level is all about riding the creature. However, there is no bonus in this level.

On level two, if the player can ride the Chocobo for two minutes, the creature can gain the Dash de Chocobo ability. It will help the creature sprint in the battle. On level three, the player has to stay for six minutes. The stamina and base running of the creature will increase.

At level four, the player needs to stay for eight minutes on the Chocobo. The creature will get the Kick de Chocobo ability that allows the creature to help the player in battles. If the player manages to ride the creature for 12 minutes, he can complete level five. This will increase the sprinting speed of the Chocobo.

Dance de Chocobo is earned if the player has successfully stayed for 16 minutes on his Chocobo. At level seven and eight, the player has to stay for 20 minutes. The creature can jump higher and Rush de Chocobo ability is rewarded.

The player has to ride the Chocobo for 24 minutes and the creature's stamina will be increased and the recovery rate doubles. At level 10, the challenge is to stay for 30 minutes and the Chocobo will gain Link de Chocobo ability.
