‘Outlander’ Season 3 Spoilers, News And Updates: Reunion Of Jamie And Claire In Second Half?

In preparation for the upcoming release of "Outlander" season 3, Caitriona Balfe (Claire) has been conducting a press tour to promote the show to make the fans crave for the show's release. She made mention of the fact that Claire and Jamie will reunite in the second half of season 2. In this case, there are many things that avid fans of the show have much to look forward to.

Here Are Some Spoilers From Claire

Undoubtedly, she had been dropping spoilers here and there on her press promo tour. The reunion of Jamie and Claire "Outlander" season 3 is just one of them. She also lamented the fact that she has not filmed many scenes with Sam Heughan (Jamie) yet. Balfe said they have shot some scenes out of order, and she shot only one episode with Sam together.

But she said the coming weeks will see them filming many scenes together for "Outlander" season 3. In one of her press tour, she was asked by Variety if she knows how the story will end in season 3. Her answer was vague but she said it will basically follow what is in Diana Gabaldon's book "Voyager." This is the third volume of the book series where the TV show is based.

Jamie Had Survived His Execution

In "Outlander" season 3, Claire will discover that Jamie had survived his execution after the battle of Culloden. That means there is a chance for them to meet again, but only after 20 years. There are questions about the two main characters of the story that the show will attempt to address.

According to Heughan, some of these questions are: "who is Jamie without Claire, why is he still surviving, what has he got to live for when he's lost the woman that he loves?" According to Heughan, this will be the central focus of the upcoming season. He added that after all the tragedies that happened in season 2, "Outlander" season 3 "feels like a very new chapter." Fans only have a few more months to wait and the show will start airing on Starz on 2017.
