Dota 2 News: All New Ultimate Scepter Upgrades For Patch 7.00
Valve finally announced the new update for Dota 2 that brings an entirely new world to its community. Dota 2 Patch 7.00 utterly changes the game by incorporating new talent system, in-game mechanics as well as major overhaul of the map.
Aside from the controversial talent system, there's another new changes in Dota 2 that will definitely change the course of the upcoming meta. Here's the new ultimate upgrades of Aghanim's Scepter that significantly changes the skill of the hero.
Anti-Mage - The new patch brings anti-mage to the hero pools of Aghanim's Scepter upgrades which gives the hero the ability to passively block and reflect any targeted spells once every 12 seconds. It basically a passive Linken Sphere and Lotus orb to the hero!
Bounty Hunter - Aghanim's Scepter allows Shuriken Toss to bounce twice on each Tracked hero. Take note that the same bounce mechanic on the initial bounces still apply to the second one.
Chaos Knight - The scepter upgrade of CK enables the hero to cast his ultimate on an allied target and also reduces Phantasm's cooldown by 20 seconds. This would definitely break the push-strat meta!
Crystal Maiden - CM now applies Frostbite on all enemy units caught in the Freezing Field for more than 2.5 seconds. Frostbite persists even after Freezing Field has ended or cancelled.
Phantom Lancer - Phantom Lance will now bounce to nearby enemy units for a maximum limit of 5 targets and also spawns PL illusions.
Riki - Scepter upgrade allows Riki to cast his ultimate on an allied hero, enabling riki to hide on the target while casting his ultimate.
Skywrath Mage - Every spell casted will spawn a duplicate spell which will hit a nearby enemy unit (heroes prioritized). Search AoE is within 700 radius around Skywrath.
Slark - Reduces ultimate cooldown by 30 seconds and applies the Shadow Dance (active) buff on allied heroes within 325 AoE radius - healing and boosting movement speed of your allies in the process. This is pretty much overpowered in any way.
Sniper - Assassinate is now a ground targeted spell which has a 400 AoE radius. This allows multi-targeting on assassinate which deals 2.8x ciritcal strike on all targets + applying headshot on all affected targets. (critical damage applies first before headshot in overall damage calculation).
Zeus - Grants a new active ability, Nimbus which gives the player the ability to create a cloud globally that hits any random enemy with a Lightning Bolt within a 500 AoE once every 2.5 seconds. This spell is pretty great at both scouting and bursting!
