Nokia D1C: A Great Phone With A Low Cost
The first Nokia-branded smartphones to be released in 2017 by the folks over at HMD Global seems likely to belong to the mid-range category. We expect the Finnish company to embrace an aggressive pricing strategy to catch as much market share as possible.
The Nokia D1C Quick Specs And What You Should Know
The Nokia D1C will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. It will also come with Full HD screen which measures 5.5-inch and it will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera. On the rear, there will be an 8-megapixel camera. The phone will likely use a customized edition of Android Nougat. It is more likely that the higher-priced variant will have a 16-megapixel camera and might come with more internal storage. The base variant may come along with 16GB internal storage.
The rest of the phones' specs and features look pretty similar: 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 graphics processing unit, A 16GB storage, and also 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Both versions will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. With that surprisingly, low price the D1C should give users a compelling reason to switch over to Nokia. However, there are other brands selling quite good phones at this price point such as Moto phones come to the mind and the brand Nokia, when offered at massive prices, can be quite great.
The Nokia D1C Price
The D1C though will have fairly prudent hardware compared to China's Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, is more likely to offer consumers the same old Nokia build quality and camera performance which once made Nokia a household name.
The Nokia Android phone that is probably the most affordable. According to the latest tips, the phone will come in two variants. The base variant with 2GB RAM price is around $150, which will be slightly cheaper than the other version, with 3GB RAM, will likely to cost $200.
