'Disappointment' For MacBook Pro has More And More Users Switching To Surface Pro Than Ever Before, Microsoft Says

The Microsoft, the software giant claims that last November was the best month ever for consumer Surface sales.The new MacBook Pro has caused countless issues over the last few weeks. From its lack of legacy I/O ports to graphics problems and battery life concerns.Microsoft says this is outstanding to more Mac users than ever switching to Surface PCs and laptops.

A Research Shows, More Mac Users Are Switching To Microsoft

In a yearly research on the Windows blog, the company said that more people are switching from Mac to Surface than has ever before with Mac users disappointed by Apple's new MacBook Pro and seduce by Surface innovations. In the post, Microsoft states the trade-in program for MacBooks saw its increasing numbers ever, where users are able to take credit for their Mac laptops towards a Surface purchase.

This is partly discussed by the fact Microsoft ran a special trade-in promotion with top valuations for a limited time.In the UK, we had the best single week for Surface ever and in Germany which also the Surface Pen became the top seller in PC Accessories on Amazon.com for over 12 hours.

Why Mac Users Are Switching To Microsoft

Although it hasn't had quite enough of patting itself on the back just yet,the company goes on to boast that also its Surface laptops and 2-in-1s, it's big-screened Surface Hub which is also "exceeding expectations." Microsoft mentioned that in the nine months since it first released, its shipped more the overpriced whiteboard to more than 2,000 customers in 24 markets.

"The average deal size is roughly 50 units, but we've seen orders as large as 1,500 units to a large car maker. This makes our team really, really proud," the Microsoft said. Moreover, the company has said that it will release a try-and-buy plan in the US and also in Europe later this year, together with a bunch of new surface hub features which includes Inking support over Office apps, concurrent Pen and Touch and also support for third-party factors.
