Bezel-free displays give more screen real estate, at the same time, a virtual home button embedded in the glass flaunt a sleeker look.

The iPhone 8 is expected to feature a curved glass front and back with a metal band on the rim. That would be a radical design after three repetitions of the same type handset. Apple fans ecstatic to hear that great news.

The Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 are both expected to use an organic light-emitting diode or OLED displays rather than of the more common liquid crystal display or LCD screens. OLED displays are slimmer, more power saver and boast vivid colors and deeper blacks compared to LCD displays.
