Mount And Blade Warband Will Get A New Update With Multiplayer 'Invasion' Mode

Mount and Blade, the game we've been playing a lot over the years will get a new update as announced by TaleWorlds. The update will bring us new content and a new multiplayer mode called "Invasion." Let us take a look at the preview.

TaleWorlds Announced Multiplayer For Warband

TaleWorlds Entertainment, the developer of the game, officially announced the update coming to Mount And Blade: Warband through their Twitter account. The contents were previewed in Lionheart's Twitch Channel viewed by hundreds of thousands of viewers. The highlight of the update is the added multiplayer mode named "Invasion" which allows people to play together against the AI of the game.

Mount And Blade: Warband Invasion Mode

The upcoming multiplayer mode for Warband will cater 16 people multiplayer against bots. Invasion mode will also allow you to bring in notable characters and companions from your single player games to fight with you. In the game, the enemies drop random items including the special armors that restore health and bows that fire javelins.

The mechanic of the game is very simple. You, along with your friends, will defeat multiple waves of enemies and find your way through the enemy Lords to kill the King. The difficulty increases as you make progress in the game. Mount and Blade: Warband Invasion will be a free update available to PC players.

Another DLC: High-Resolution Textures

Along with the announcement they made about Invasion mode is the high-resolution texture update for PC players. These high-resolution textures are being used in the console version of the game and now they're bringing it to PC. This will be an optional downloadable content and also free.

Mount and Blade: Warband is a stand-alone expansion pack to Mount and Blade. It was published in 2010 and gained popularity since then.
